Christmas Photo Booth

I know this is a little late coming out, but about 30 days late isn't too bad for me considering how I was this fall...

But these photos below are too priceless not to share!  My parents usually do Christmas Karaoke, which is fun, but for some reason this year just didn't have the same feeling.

So naturally I decided to do a photo booth session!  I had purchased a set at Hobby Lobby on sale one weekend while out shopping for the dollhouse and of course in our "Pack our car up until it's bursting at the seems with 3 humans, 2 dogs, and EVERY other item you can think of" we forgot the kit.  This meant last minute printing, cutting, pasting, and creating!

We printed a lot of things offline that were FREE kits of holiday or Christmas photo booth.  I just searched both "Holiday Photo booth Free Printable" and "Christmas Photo booth Free Printable" and was able to come up with all these props!  I give myself props for being savvy!

And everyone seemed to like it...

2012 Recap -- 12 in Twelve

A Year in Family Pictures

Monthly Review

Baby Kakes is born.
Very first FAMLY photo.
I look like crap, but I don't think that's the biggest deal in this picture!
Ella is!

Baby is shown off.
Had a big family shindig which we called the Ella Meet & Greet.
It was a ton of fun and she was very cooperative and stylish in her pink leopard PJs.

Easter.
Open your eyes Mr K.
Nothing really to say about this picture except that due to a bad storm this GORGEOUS tree has now beens chopped down.  Woamp Woamp.

Wedding.
Most stressful wedding of my life -- I couldn't figure out what to wear.  I think I look awful, but Ella and her shoes were the hit of the party so I'm ok with that.  It was her first time to meet most of the Kellermeyer side.

Photo shoot.
I had Ella's pictures taken by Rylee Madison Photography.

Color Run.
First Family 5K.  It was very fun.  We got Ella sunglasses and a stroller cover.
She loved it!

Family Picnic.
It was a Gorgeous Day at Forest Park.

Pumpkin Patch.
Family Fun Time at the pumpkin patch before they closed everything up and kicked us out.

St. Louis Budweiser Plant Tour.
(sorry we are so small - not sure what's up with that)
Probably not appropriate for a baby, but it was fun and I think she enjoyed the Clydesdales.
We, of course, enjoyed the free beer at the end.

Free Family Pictures -- JCP.
Best Picture of Mike and I.
Ella had better, but I am selfish.

Family Dinner with Cheeeeeeeese.
Just another night out with my grandparents.
Clearly I have a goofball on my hands.

Last Picture of 2012 Technically, but I"m counting as January 2013.
And technically our entire family is in this picture as Louie is under the chair.  Lex is very stoic don't you think?
Wish we could get "cheeeeeese" on demand.

This was a fun thing for Ella -- Look how much she's changed.
It's kind of nice for me too, although I can't say that much has changed for Mr K & I.

Onto the next 12 in Twelve.

The Color Run - Indianapolis

This past weekend we did The Color Run here in Indianapolis.  We did it with a few of my friends from work.  It's the first 5K that I've done in a while, but I thought it would be a fun one!  So, all we needed to do was pick up our packets before hand and we would be on our way to a colorful morning and cool stroller!

Mr. K went to pick up our packets on Friday before the race and got in line... a line that was all the way around the building that had the packets.  There were tents set up outside, but not enough for apparently the 20,000 people who had signed up for it!  He waited in like for 30 minutes and then it started to rain, lightening, thunder, and hail, and he said that was it.

So, we started our Saturday a little earlier than usual and got up when Ells got up.  We had to go extra early because of missing the packet pick up and unfortunately for us, the Brickyard was also this weekend, which meant that all the hotels were booked as well as parking places!

When we got there, we threw Ells in her stroller, and got in line to get our numbers!  Here's Ell's sporting the sweat band ready to roll -- literally.

Here's a picture of us waiting before.
It was sea of white.  We were crowded in....packed in like sardines.
But somehow we all found each other and got to run/walk/stay together!

Here's Mr. K and I before...
Don't. judge. It. was. an. early. morning. without. coffee.
Enough. Said.

So we ran...
Through Orange...
Through Blue...
Through Pink...
Through Purple...
Through Yellow...
And here's how we turned out...

We even snagged a picture for our 12 in 12.

And here's my little tiny dancer dancing in the mosh color pit!  Isn't she the cutest?!?

And then it was time to go home....

I think I should take her on a 5K everyday because she slept like a trooper that night!  It was wonderful.  And clearly...she had a great time!

Great Grandma Gigi

Our sitter has been out on vacation for three weeks.  I'm missing her desperately.
Along with that, our skating schedules changed for the summer.
So, we've had company at our house for the last three weeks.

Week One - Grandma Darla
Week Two - Aunt Libby
Week Three - Grandma Darla

When we are in need of a sitter, we've usually been packing Ells up and taking her to my grandma's house, Ells Gigi.  She's her Great Grandma AND technically GG because she was our Grandma G*.

But with the company at our house, I guess you could say between our schedules and our replacement sitters not seeing Ells very often, they were hogging her.

So the other night Gigi pulled up in front of our house.
I had just been saying how she had to be having Ella withdrawals and there they were.

Apparently she told my mom she can't get enough of her.
I think it's good for her.  Keeps her young.
Although, she's already a very young great grandma or at least doesn't seem her age yet.
I think she keeps running from it, her age that is.
If it wants to find her, it would probably find her in Chico's or Starbucks.
They know her by name.

And Ells just adores her!

12 in Twelve

Well, the 12 in Twelve project is going ok so far.
This is an idea that I got from Rachel over at Running Backwards in Heels where you take a picture of the family 1x each month!

We technically missed January, but are subbing in a family photo taken on Feb 1st when Ella was born and then we really did miss March.  Oops!

But we did not miss April!  Here's our Easter Photos.

And here are our others...

Technically Feb, but we are counting this as January so that they are all family pictures.

And here's our February picture...

I wish I knew how to photo shop...then I could totally make March happen!  lol.

Happy Thursday!  It's the gateway to the weekend!
