Little Bench Make Over

Many things move around my house.  I did used to have a bench in the pantry, but it's made it's way to the top of the stairs.  That left me needing something to take it's place.

A little while ago, I purchased this bench on craigslist. It wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be, but it was something to work with. I've been keeping my eyes open for a couple of different benches for my house, and this one came along so I jumped.

Here she is.  Not too much to look at.

So I got some semi-gloss gray spray paint and starting spraying away!  That got us here...

But we were still left with the bench seat.  It was definitely needing some TLC.

I took all the staples out from the underside.  I put a new layer of batting on it and used spay adhesive to help with the stick.  Then I grabbed some fabric that was still up in the "craft box" and started to re-cover the seat.

And here is how it turned out!  I'm actually pretty pleased!

Done any re-do's lately?
