Hello Keurig :: Product Review

It's been a while... and what better way to get back in the action than with talking about coffee...

#hellokeurig

Keurigs... we have a love hate relationship.  I love that they are so easy to use and they take the pods.  I hate that they only make one cup of coffee...

But they don't all just make one cup of coffee anymore!  They can make 4!  The Keurig 2.0 can accept a much bigger type of K-cup which will make a 4-cup carafe of coffee!  It's called the K-Carafe.  That's more my speed!

While my system did not come with the K-Carafe, I do plan on buying one.  The one pod at at time thing doesn't really work for us.  We drink too much coffee.  This system did come with a whole bunch of things including the brewer, descaling solution, a large box of sample pods, and another small box of sample pods.

So far, we are liking it for the most part.  I'm friends with anything that gives me my morning brew.  I do not like that it only goes up to 10 cups for the brew size.  I used to make 12 & even 14 with my other Keurig (travel sizes).  I would do that so my cup was full.  The brew didn't seem too watered down either so it worked.  Now, with only 10 oz, my cups are half full.  Sad Face.

The other downfall with this one is that I feel like I'm always filling up the water.  This system doesn't seem to hold the water the same way which is a good thing.  This one seems much easier to clean.  The water lifts off the back and it just seems like a better placement for the water reservoir.

But -- we haven't tried the 4-cup yet because we don't have the brewer and I think that will change the outlook on this product.  It does seem more high tech and cleaner than the other Keurigs we've had -- and we've had 3 up to this point... this is our 4th.

All in all, I like it.  I like that it's quick, easy, and I can make all different varieties of coffee & hot chocolate.  That makes it worth it for me because if my little one wants tea or hot chocolate it's a pretty easy process.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes but all opinions are my own.
